A note from Kathi:

Our callers for 2008 are Art Tangen (NM) and Shane Greer (KS).  This is the second time around for these callers.  We really loved them the first time so this should be just as much fun.  Our theme for this year is "Thanks For The Memories".  It has a double meaning.  1-the Bob Hope era (support of our soldiers) and
2-this will be my last year as chairperson of the Fling.  It has been a wonderful ride but due to health issues and just plain tired it's time to say good bye.  I was a co-chair for my first two Flings(1999-2000) and then took over as chair until present(2008). 

Although I have had the title of chairperson the real brains and brawn behind this event is Larada Horner.  This will be her last year also.  The success we have had is largely due to the hard work she does promoting the event all of the country.  Without her doing the publicity, etc. I do not believe we would have had the success we have enjoyed. 

Also without the support of the Duke City Singles the Fling would never have happened.  As the sponsoring club they have assured the success of this event.  Hope you can join us for some more great memories in 2008.

The 2009 Duke City Singles Spring Fling - will be held May 1-2. (Same great weekend - only the name has changed!)

Two days of fun filled dancing. After parties both nights and a Live Band Saturday Night.  Will will still have the Recycle Shop for your buying pleasure!

The theme is MAY DAY FANTASY  so come dance around the May Pole! And wear your finest Spring outfit!
