BEGINNING SQUARE DANCE LESSONS

A FREE Dinner and Beginner "introduction to square dancing" lesson was held
Wednesday, October 21, at 6:30 PM at the
Albuquerque Square Dance Center
located at 4915 Hawkins Drive, Abq.
The following Friday, October 23, was the first full lesson, also FREE!
Our club had a great turn-out to the Wednesday dinner - about 40 folks had dinner and gave square dancing a twirl.  The following Friday, many of the Wednesday group and others that couldn't make the dinner joined us in the free full lesson.  Since then, eighteen singles and couples have signed up for the full series of Mainstream lessons.  They are a great bunch of folks and are rapidly learning the square dance calls, under the superb direction of our club caller, Richard Lane!  We hope we will have the pleasure of their company well into the future!!

The DUKE CITY SINGLES CLUB is affiliated with Single Square Dancers, USA. (SSDUSA).
